TWISTED FALLS
Project Background
Twisted Falls was the project that first sparked my love for product design. Inspired by the natural motion of Corkscrew Falls, this ADA-compliant faucet tells a story of both beauty and accessibility.
This design earned me the honor of becoming the first Canadian winner of the NEWH Product Design Scholarship, sponsored by Symmons.

Water needs to flow through an aerator of some type, in order to restrict the flow and comply with local and national building codes for water savings and LEED projects
Concept
Inspired by Corkscrew Falls, the Twisted Falls Faucet captures the fluid, organic beauty of a cascading waterfall. The spout rocks gently to control the flow, echoing the rhythm of flowing water while the design creates a calming user experience rooted in peace and connection to nature’s elements.
Operation
Water Flow: To ensure avoidance of bending or twisting the wrist to operate the tap, the faucet is designed to be activated by the gentle movement of pushing and pulling the spout backward and forward. This thoughtful mechanism not only enhances user convenience but also mimics the graceful flow of water, creating a seamless and natural experience.
Temperature Control: Slide the heat gauge as indicated for your desired water temperature.
